How to fill out an application in pdf format on my mac?

PDF Software for mac
James Preswick Jr asked:

What do I need to actually fill out an application form in pdf file on my mac?

I’ve got an application form, consisting of 20 pages, in pdf. One of the oprions is to print it out and then fill it out manually. But I don’t want this option. I actually want to fill out the application form on my mac and only then print it out.

What do I need to do this? Do I need to download some software, because I don’t think my current software (Adobe Acrobat) allows me to do this.

If I need to download a new software, could you please advise me if I can get online for free?

Thanks.

mac digital photo software
babii girl. asked:

Reasons in converting from PC to Mac:
– Well, for one..I’ve always wanted a Mac, any Apple product really, but they’re so expensive.
– I love the customer support. You get One-on-One help with a MacGenius at any Apple Store (which are basically in every city) instead of doing the push-button waiting for an “agent” to help me on the phone.
– The sleek designs are very sexy lol. and with almost every Mac Desktop or laptop, you have a built-in web cam.
– Updates in software are always available and are so easy to update.
– Apple Technology makes me feel so “technical” lol with all the high-end software and stuff.
– I want the MacBook to be my laptop for life. Using it daily.
– Sometimes, I wanna make some video montages with my HD Cam.
– Have it be a place to store my digital photos.
– I’m a huge music person. i need room for my 2,000+ songs on iTunes.

but I don’t wanna seem like I’m only buying the MacBook Pro just for it’s looks. I don’t even know how to choose one. For example, what’s the diff between 2.23 and 2.56GHz? What kind is a “1066MHz frontside bus. 3MB shared L2 cache” processor? What does it mean to have “NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory” for graphics? Is a “1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM” good? Should I upgrade to the 8GB memory instead of the retail 2GB or 4GB?

I’ve tried to save my word files as RTF so that I can read them on my apple mac but no joy?

PDF Software for mac
Jools67 asked:

My mac has OS 9.2 software and even when I save my PC documents as RTF, I cannot read them on the mac as they still save as ‘word’ RTF files and my apple cannot read them. Someone suggested saving my word files as PDF but when I go into ’save as’, PDF is not an option. Anyone know how I can transfer my word files from my PC laptop to the apple? Thanks.
My pc laptop is not connected to a printer so I cannot save as PDF. My mac has OS 9.2 software. Is there anything I can do? Thanks.

customer software for mac
terinselena asked:

I thought that I had it all figured out, but after reading so many reviews I’m back to square one.

I currently have a Vista-powered PC that crashes every hour-two hours. It’s a fairly new computer with no installed programs and no internet downloads and up-to-date windows updates and anti-virus software.

So after the crashing and freezing; no helpful advice from customer service; and not being able to get any work done, I decided that I want a Mac.

I went to Apple’s site and researched both models. I went to Best Buy and played with both models and I immediately attached to the MBP.

Now I’m back to comparing and I say to myself, “Wow! There isn’t much difference between the $1299 MB and the $1999 MBP.”

My question is: Is the MBP really worth the extra $1000? To any MB/MBP users, does the screen size make that much of a difference? And for MBP users do you really use the multi-touch trackpad? What is each macbook/macbook pro made for (basic, advanced, etc)?

Thanks in advance!

Remote Desktop Connection ?

Sunday, June 1st, 2008
mac firewall
kissmyblarney asked:

Hi all,

Im trying to connect to a VISTA Ultimate edition computer in the UK from my MAC PRO OSX in Switzerland using a remote desktop connection but im having difficulty connecting.

The computer in the UK has ticked the box allowing RDC’s and has swiched off the firewall for initial testing, but nothing. Keeps telling me that it cannot connect.

Ive used this RDC connection in my office, connecting to my work station, with no problem’s.

Am I missing something largely fundamental here or what?

Kindest regards,

Rob
Regarding the VPN connection then. Can I remotely control the other PC. Or is this solely for transferring encrypted data??

firewall mac
patty_in_wv asked:

My firewall keeps telling me that someone with a mac address and it gives me the mac address is trying to connect. But what i want to know is who it is or a real address. I tried to look it up on dsl reports and all it gives me is that it is a linksys router.
i have a password on my router and i even tried to block the mac address from the router settings and the firewall is still telling that someone with this particular mac address is trying to access my network.
