I’m looking for Anti-Virus, Anti-malware, etc, and Firewall for OSX Leopard. I would strongly prefer not to use Norton or McAfee, because those resource hogs are well, resource hogs.

If it’s good, it’s good.
It’d be better if it’s free and good.

And the first person who says anything about Mac’s not needing anti-virus, I’ve got an attachment for you, send me your email address.

Malware exists for most operating systems, including OSX. I’m assuming you’ve never opened word documents with malicious macro’s coded in. These macro’s are cross platform, and will make short work of your computer. Proper AV and AM programs will take care of this.

Actually, that’s the exact purpose of resident scanners often found in quality anti-malware programs. They find things as you manipulate them.

Stop. Trojans do not spawn from social engineering. Phishing is social engineering. Trojan’s are just programs used for unhindered backdoor entry.
